My travels 2011 continued

Ben is big! We did the bus tour thing, and was able to hop on and hop off at any time during the course of the day. We were also able to take a cruise down the river. Got to see all the major sites in a day. Oh yes, we went to Harrods! Looked at the amazing fashion, handbags, and the restroom. Hopped off the bus at Paddington Station, and walked back to the hotel Novotel London.

Here, Puff Pastry with Caramelized Onions and Fresh Thyme. We have all kinds of sweet and savory fillings from Blueberry Compote to Almond Cream. For the savory palette,  Lamb with fresh Spinach, all kinds of cheese fillings...

I have managed to present a pretty macaron, but I'm finding it difficult to perfect the shell. There are so many websites out there that have wonderful recipes, but it's the most temperamental delight I have ever tried to bake. However the taste is amazing! I will be featuring this little sweet addiction this year at the market.
